La Historia presents: Bacon Sakatani

Picture

La Historia Historical Society Museum presents guest speaker, Hiromi "Bacon" Sakatani, at the El Monte Senior Center 17th at 11:30.
Bacon Sakatani grew up in El Monte, attending Lexington School, during the 1930's. As a young teenager, Sakatani and his family were removed from their property and sent to a Japanese internment camp.

He continues to tell his story.
Join La Historia in honoring one of our legacy community members and listening as he looks back at his journey.
